Also, if I had two little boys, I would think about having a door into the utility room from the outside instead, perhaps in lieu of the back door onto the screened porch.
My kitchen/utility room is set up much like yours except that I have a pocket door into the utility room which was one of my builder's best suggestions.

I like the layout of the ground floor.
One can see a lot of thought went into the space. I am sure it will be a house that lives large.

Don't your upstairs bedrooms have closets?
